Church St, Wrexham LL13 8LY, UK – 01978 355808
The parish church is one of the 7 wonders of Wales because of its interesting gothic bell tower. It has had a long presence in Wrexham serving the community and leading Christian worship for centuries. An interesting fact is the founder of Yale University in the U.S. has his tomb and memorial here and there are memorial ceremonies each year attended by U.S. citizens representing Yale. Mr Y Yale had his farming estate in the Llandegla area, 10 miles north of Wrexham.
I visited here as part of a visiting band of bell ringers and very much enjoyed ringing on the ten bells as well as admiring the architecture of the church and it's friendly atmosphere.
