Local Tourist Information Centres and Shops

Wrexham Tourist Information Centre

Lambpit St, Wrexham LL11 1AR, UK – 01978 292015

Brilliant that TIC is now open on Saturdays, has an alcohol licence so sells locally produced beers/ciders. Small, but quality, selection of other local food and craft produce. An excellent variety of local-interest books. Friendly, interested and interesting staff. All the usual useful tourist information pleasingly and accessibly displayed. I could not fault it. Five stars plus.

Nice staff and helped me find great places to visit

Nant Mill Visitor Centre

Rhos Berse Rd, Coedpoeth, Wrexham LL11 3BT, UK – 01978 752772

BEST WALK FOR PREGNANCY! I have a hard time with walking due to having a few problems with my pregnancy (struggle with heat as makes me very light headed and breathless). This walk is manageable with lots of seating. Depending which route you take you don’t have to be in direct sunlight all the time and is a calm environment. Great for pets and kids!

This is my safe harbour, my mindfulness and place to go to clear the mind. So lucky having Nant Mill, Plas Power Woods and the Clywedog Trail on the doorstep. Excellent walks and local history.

Woodland Classroom

Felin Puleston Outdoor Centre, Erddig, Wrexham LL13 7RF, UK – 07876 794098

James and Lea came to do a full Wildcraft day with my Year 5 class on school premises and it was fantastic! Even the children who didn't play Minecraft had a brilliant day. They worked in teams, scoring points for collecting resources, trading, den building and more. It was lovely to see the children enjoying the outdoors and learning new skills. James and Lea made the day exciting, adventurous and everything was done safely. I would fully recommend Woodland Classroom for a school trip and will definitely be looking to book again. Thanks for a great day the children will remember for a long time.

My son Alfie is having an amazing time at rangers, he counts down the days until next time. Beautiful setting and great experiences.

Bellevue Park

A lovely park. The best part is the original part, Victorian, featuring the bandstand surrounded by the winding paths and lovely trees. Two separate small enclosed playgrounds fenced for children. Infant and older, depending on ability. Tennis courts. Coin operated toilet ( when it's in working order) . A pleasure to walk through, especially in autumn.

It's a very well looked after and great for families my only problem is there's to many pikeys but apart from that it's great
